Made with the exacting quality standards of our Acrylic Embedment line, our exclusive ColorCast™ Acrylic Awards are made in house with custom molds developed specifically to enhance the beauty of this free-standing acrylic trophy. Whether you choose the rectangle, square, round, apex, peak or pinnacle shape — you get to choose any of our eight solid color, twelve glitter options and twelve transparent colors to accentuate its crystal-clear appearance. Especially popular is the Blue Acrylic Award accent with your choice of six different colors of blue.

How is the ColorCast™ Acrylic Award made?

Cast in Glendale, Arizona US Acrylic Awards has taken the skills acquired over years of cast acrylic award manufacturing and developed a process that combines strips of colored acrylic sheets expertly inlayed into the crystal-clear acrylic resins. Like our embedment line, the ColorCast™ starts with one of our twelve mold shapes; circle, edges, flame, hexagon, meridian, obelisk, octagon, peak, pillars, pinnacle, rectangle and square. Your choice of 8 solid color, 12 glitter color or 8 transparent color strips of acrylic are cut to size and prepared for embedding in the liquid mix of monomer and polymer. As with embedments the molds are filled partially with the acrylic compound and left to cure for a few hours, then the color strips are inlaid into the mold and additional compound is poured to fill the mold. The molds are then placed in the autoclave pressure ovens and exposed to nitrogen and heat for 8-10 hours before being removed for plaining, sawing, sanding, diamond honing and polishing to a perfect crystal-clear glass like appearance that enhances the color accents.

From this finished blank stage, US Acrylic Awards craftsmen are able to transform the trophy into a work of art using our high-power laser engraving equipment to personalize or by using our UV color printers to embellish with your corporate logo — making them unique to your brand.
