Made of the highest quality cast acrylic sheet stock available, the Aspect™ is crystal clear and has hundreds of customizable combinations. Each option adding another phase to the manufacturing process and extending the unlimited potential for a truly custom crystal-clear acrylic trophy.

How’s is the Aspect™ line made?

The Aspect™ Acrylic Award line starts with you choosing one of the 15 standard shapes we offer; square, rectangle, triangle, round, apex, hexagon, octagon, peak, obelisk, mountain, tombstone, heart, flame, star or diamond. Each of our shapes has up to 11 options to fully customize the look and feel of your awards. Once all combinations are chosen and the order is submitted online, we will contact you to go over the details and make sure we have all of the information needed to accurately produce your awards.

The creative staff in our art room will go to work creating a virtual (pdf) proof which we will send you via email prior to production. This proof will show the placement of all logos and text based on the specification provided. This is your chance to verify that the content is accurate, and you like the layout our art team created. If you like it, just respond back and tell us to move forward and if you don’t, we are ready to make adjustments and send you another proof. Our goal is to make sure every award project we complete is done to 100% satisfaction.

Our guys in the back love to manufacture acrylic and once the art is approved, they begin their fabrication magic. Each custom acrylic attribute chosen on your order means the series of events needed to complete your project will be different, so below are the different steps described in detail.

Size

• The size and shape are important as our art team creates the laser cut, print and engraving files needed to complete your project. Each project is different and depending on the shape, we nest the items up in order to maximize the number of awards we can get out of a sheet to reduce waste and cost.

Thickness

• The Aspect™ line is available in two thicknesses ¾” x 1” thick. We always suggest choosing the 1” thick option on taller trophies as the ¾” can be prone to tipping if top heavy. Have no fear if your budget only allows for ¾” material, because one of the leading reasons people choose acrylic over glass is that it is not breakable.

Edge Profile

• The Aspect™ comes standard with a squared off edge and this profile looks very nice. The other option is to have a 45° bevel placed around the full perimeter except the bottom plane. This bevel will enhance your acrylic award attracting light and giving it an illusion of depth not present with the square edge.
• If you choose the squared off edge, our acrylic craftsmen polish each edge to perfection — so that from any angle, the trophy will attract light and highlight the printed or engraved image.
• If you choose the 45° beveled edge, we will run the edge through a router then sand and polish to perfection. The beveled edge option is a true light grabber and adds an impression of added depth.

Logo Application

• USAcrylicAwards.com has two ways to apply logos to your acrylic awards. The first is using one of our high-speed laser engravers which will etch the surface of the acrylic, giving it the appearance of finely etched crystal. The second option is to use one of our flatbed ultraviolet full color printers to apply your logo. Our print staff knows the importance of color in every corporate brand and takes great pride in our ability to match colors as closely as humanly possible.

Engraving Application

The first is using one of our high-speed laser engravers which will etch the surface of the acrylic, giving it the appearance of finely etched crystal. The second option is to use one of our flatbed ultraviolet full color printers to apply text.
