Award Design & Selection

Acrylic trophy design has expanded far beyond traditional shapes and engraving. Today, full-color printing, dimensional construction, mixed materials, custom contours, and American manufacturing give organizations more ways to create recognition that reflects the achievement, event, or brand behind it.

With so many shapes to choose from, many have asked US Acrylic Awards – What is the most popular shape and which one should I choose? Many of our customers find this a puzzling issue and it’s a question that requires a bit of thought, especially as it relates to corporate recognition programs. Corporate awards often have logos, text, and embedded items cast directly into the Lucite® which may have an effect on the proposed shape.

Today we are going to look into the processes behind each of our standard acrylic award products, in an effort to educate you on how acrylic awards are made, the manufacturing processes involved, and then cap it off with some of the most advanced engraving and decorating techniques we use everyday to personalize awards for companies around the US and Canada.

At a whopping 45% increase in retiring officers, we’re often asked – what’s the best way to recognize a retiring public servant? Let’s begin by diving deeper, and answering a few important questions that may help you create the perfect retirement award.

Before we explore options to improve your recognition program, let’s consider the colors and color combinations you use on your awards. From colored accents to corporate logos – all should be considered thoughtfully to increase the probability of motivating your employees to reach their fullest potential. In this case, we’re not just taking into account your corporate branding. We’re going further by bringing up the topic of color psychology in awards.

How you present an award should reflect the personality of your corporate culture – taking into account the level of ceremoniousness you wish to demonstrate.
